The Position - A Brief Overview & Description
This is a full time sales position with hours of 9am to 5pm Monday thru Friday at our new offices in Wheat Ridge Colorado.
We're hiring the primary sales people for the company. They'll receive generous bonuses for sales and be a solid part of the company. Ideally they'll be with us long term, love building client relationships and being on the phone taking incoming inquiries and making some outgoing relationship building calls each week.
Both sales people will earn well over 6 figures, more in the next few years, have regular clientele and accounts and have long term job security with us.
Vacations are included in our schedule along with a number of " 1 -day off's" that can be taken throughout the year to help you stay at your best and keep rejuvenated.
Very few 'sales appointments' or in-person sales appointments where on site presentations are made are necessary. Relationship lunches etc. may come later for building relationships with event planners etc.
You'll spend your entire day on the phones - filling requests that come in for speakers, trainers and Alexander's consulting and coaching packages. 90 % of your time will be spent on the phones, using the DB, emailing and online on web sites, closing sales and building long term accounts.
Our speakers bureau receives dozens and dozens of inquires for speakers and trainers.
Our consulting and coaching company receives inquiries for our various coaching packages.
Much of this position is to fill the requests for speakers and trainers using our in house DB and our own speaker booking process.
80% of the leads are provided for you. Some outreach calling and out bound calls to our 'past inquiry list' is required.
We're looking for an outstanding team of people to train and keep long term. Our variety of coaching programs, speaker inquiries, entertainment production and online trainings to come - make this position creative and challenging.
You'll have an opportunity to establish accounts and build long term relationships with people from large companies and organizations who will call you back again and again requesting coaching, trainings or public speakers - thus providing you with a stable clientele who know and trust you.
You'll enter them into the data base, follow up all requests for speakers and use our own in house DB to provide speakers and trainers for our clients to choose from.
Compensation
This position will begin at $12 (plus commission bonuses on sales) an hour and is expected to go up based on performance.
80% of all leads will be provided - 20% you'll create in outgoing calls to build relationships with event planners, meeting organizers etc.
But we're looking for one excellent customer service/ sales people will rise quickly to $80K and more a year.
Our generous commission plan includes bonuses for volume sales, vacation time each year and 1-day-off's throughout the year to help you stay rejuvenated and at your best.
We're a profit sharing oriented company and this position is a key sales person in our organization.
Training
Complete training will be provided including our ACT! DB system and our complete step by step sales process for booking our Speakers and for enrolling those who inquire about our coaching and business consulting.
You'll be required to learn and use a set of basic scripts for everything we offer.
Monday morning sales meetings will be the norm and will include training to help you at every step along the way.
Requirements - These are Mandatory
1. You must be truly outstanding on the phone, be able to establish a very warm and friendly rapport immediately and be very customer service oriented.
2. You must be very good at multitasking the phones with emailing, web surfing and using our in house ACT! database with multiple leads flying all at once.
3. You must have past SALES or CUSTOMER SERVICE experience
4. You must have past DB experience and the ability to learn the ACT! database contact software
5. You must already type at least 40 words per minute without looking at the keys
6. You must work well on your own, totally unsupervised
7. You must be great at following up over and over again and love building relationships
8. You must be on time all the time 9:00 AM to 5:00PM Monday thru Friday
9. You must desire a long term career in sales/customer service
10. You must be a team player, honest and loyal - a thorough background check will be done
