We're currently hiring for a key position in our company.
This is
a full time position, 10 AM to 5 PM, Account Executive for our Wheat Ridge, Colorado Office.
You'll play 2 roles on a daily basis:
1. Account Executive - "people connector" - For Our speakers Bureau
You'll find our speakers bureau at AlexanderSpeakersBureau.com
You'll connect the right speaker or trainer with the client and their unique request for a presenter.
We book speakers, trainers and sports figures nation wide - and you'll play the roll of a 'booking agent'.
We're looking for someone who likes connecting people, finding a match, and loves serving others.
You'll be receiving multiple inquires, mostly by email, and entering them into our ACT! DB. Then, using our separate DB of speakers, you'll recommend certain speakers and trainers - email recommendations, hold conference calls, attach flyers and follow up to see if the client likes any of the speakers you've suggested.
You'll draft and handle
contracts when speakers and trainers are booked.
Many clients big and small will come to rely on you as their 'source' for speakers and trainers and you'll have ongoing relationships with them.
You'll spend a lot of time with a head set on as you listen to clients describe their event, enter notes in our DB, visit speakers' web sites, email speakers and clients, negotiate rates with speakers, do contracts etc.
All leads are provided and come to us.
2. Support Person/Customer Service - for our seminar clients and internet members
You'll find our seminars at DenverSeminars.com.
We have a set of 10-15 programs that Alexander offers to help business owners and entrepreneurs. Most are listed on this web site. These programs make a huge difference in people's lives.
You'll help contract the coaching packages, draft up coaching agreements using our templates, email clients on various matters, set up incoming leads in ACT! and email coaching students to confirm their call-in times etc. Clients and students will come to know you as their go to person.
We also have set of seminars we do for corporations, and small groups and occasionally we do events that we produce ourselves.
You'll answer incoming calls, give helpful information and assist with on site registrations occasionally.
Note: Training on ACT! is not required - but DB experience is. ACT! training
will be provided along with other training.

Hours
35 hours a week to start - 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Monday - Friday. It will go to 40 hours a week.
We want this position to become 40 hours a week with annual vacations, salary increase, bonuses and more. ASAP.
Salary
The starting salary is $1200 a month as a base ($10 an hour) plus 10% of all speaker bookings you close - and it will go up based on your performance and our businesses growth. We book speakers and trainers starting from $2500 all the way up to $20,000.

We're a small, rapidly growing company with new offices in Wheat Ridge Colorado near I-70 and Kipling. We have been at this location a little over 1 year now. We've been in the seminar industry for over 20 years and booked speakers for 15 years.

Required For This Position
If you type 50 wpm or so, are very good on the phones, emailing, database and are comfortable multi tasking DB, phones, online searches, MS office platform and emails - you'll likely thrive in this position.
It will be very helpful if you can learn or have experience with ACT! data base or other contact software. We'll give you thorough training in ACT!
